T. F. Dale

Rev. Thomas Francis Dale was born at 2 Amen Court, London, England on Saturday 15th July. He was baptised at St. John’s Reigate, Surrey on 13th August 1848.

He was matriculated on the 29th October 1867, aged 19, at Queen’s College, Oxford, receiving his B. A. in 1870, and his M. A. in 1874. He was Rector of Jarrow, co. Durham from 1874 – 77. He later went to India and was a Chaplain on the Indian Ecclesiastical Establishment of Armritsur, India from 1885 – 96.

He died on 13th October 1923
