O Pioneers! is a 1913 novel by American author Willa Cather. The first novel in her Great Plains trilogy, it is followed by The Song of the Lark (1915) and My Ántonia (1918).
The story revolves around a family of Swedish-American immigrants living in Nebraska at the turn of the twentieth century. At a time when most immigrant families were giving up, the protagonist Alexandra Bergson devotes her life to making a recently-inherited farm a profitable enterprise.
